Integrated Financial Services Inc. is an established financial planning office that has been based in Red Deer since 1987. While each of our advisors run an independent practice, all have been working within Integrated Financial Services for at least 12 years. This concentration and dedication in our core team allows us to pull resources from various segments of the industry to the benefit of the whole group. It also offers a stability that cannot be matched in many other firms.

Audrey Thorhauer, CFP®, CLU®, EPC

Audrey started working in the financial services industry over 20 years ago and joined Integrated Financial Services team in 1998 as a financial planner. With the determination to provide solid financial planning advice to clients she worked to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP) designation and completed it in 2002.

Even with the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP)® designation completed she found that working in a market with a significant number of client's over the age of 50 she needed more. This desire to continue growing personally and professionally led to Elder Planner Counselor (EPC) program in 2007. The program added a level of depth to the practice by providing a more holistic approach to client relationships and assisted in meeting a client's retirement dreams and expectations by expanding the focus beyond just numbers.

Her most recent educational focus has been in the business taxation market and Audrey completed 2 courses in 2018 towards the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation expects to have it completed in 2019-2020.

Audrey’s experience includes personal financial and investment planning, insurance consulting, and group retirement plans. Audrey is committed to working with clients on an individual basis to find the best solutions for each circumstance. She has been a guest faculty member teaching components of the Elder Planning Counselor course in Edmonton. Audrey has also been a guest columnist in the Real Women on the Run magazine, providing advice and information on financial issues.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation along with over 20 years in the industry allows her to provide the last crucial piece of the puzzle: someone you can work with who will actually know who you are and what your dreams and aspirations are.

When not at the office, Audrey is busy with two teenage boys, a husband of over 20 years and a spoiled dog. She is often involved with the boys at school, on the lacrosse field, with 18^th Morrisroe Scouting Group in Red Deer, or wherever my kids volunteer her (she jokes that it is called 'volun-told').
